What if I told you that, six months from right now, your body will be in the exact same condition it’s in today?

As you’re here reading this blog I’d guess that’s not what you want.
Chances are you’re working on improving the condition of your body through exercise – or at least thinking about it.
Maybe you want to fit into your favorite pair of jeans again, or run 10k, or just to be able to run for a bus… Whatever it is for you, you probably have a good idea of what it is you want to you want to see as a result of improving your fitness.
If you want to see and feel those results you’ve got do more than thinking or planning or dreaming about how it will be, you’ve got to take action. Not just once but consistently over a long period of time.
If six months from today you haven’t got fitter, that will be because, for whatever reason, you didn’t do what you needed to do to get the results you wanted.
It’s that simple.
Passively waiting for results to appear, hoping for motivation to rain down on you and carry you through without you needing to plan or put in effort is not going to cut it.
You have to act. Do that workout. Eat those nutritious foods. Stay consistent. Track your progress even if it’s slow. Keep pushing for those results, even if they’re hard to see at first.
Fitness is a great leveler – whoever you are, your results will have to be earned.
When people fail to get started because getting to where they want to be will take a long time are thinking about it all wrong.
Whether you take action to improve the condition of your body or not, time will still pass anyway.
Assuming we’re lucky enough to still be alive in six months time, that day is going to come. What you do now will determine the condition of your body on that day.
