When you’ve planned to exercise in the morning but you get up thinking, “aw, I really don’t feel like it, maybe I’ll do it later…” remember this – your decision is going to affect the way you’ll feel for the whole of the rest of the day and probably the subsequent choices you make through the day.
Do you want that relaxed, yet energized feeling that comes following a good workout?
Do you want to feel good about having got it done all day?
Or do you want to spend the rest of the day trying to justify your excuses and having arguments with yourself about when you should actually get that workout done?
Which one do you think is going to result in you having a better day?
Which do you think will make you more likely to make healthy eating choices through the day?
And which do you think will make it easier to get up and do your workout tomorrow.
Think about how the scenario has gone for you in the past.
The choice is yours.
